I have a number of 75mm American shell cases, which I'm wanting to sell. But I don't know if there tank or artiller. Some of the shell cases are shorter than the rest.Which are possibly, 75mm pack howitzer ? Does anyone one know how you tell the difference and how much there possibly worth ?

Did the compression test today, which showed up nothing !!.All ok,changed the oil & water at the same time. The HT now runs fine, with no smoke coming from the breather.
Could it have been a stuff valve ?

Many many thanks for your help guys,it's really appreciated. My HT was a sod to start today, but she finaly came to life & was loaded safely. Many thanks to all the guys that stayed behind at Rauceby, and helped to get her started and loaded safely. On the way home,I rang my farmer friend to be ready with his tractor. When it came to unload, she started first time with know smoke at all coming from the breather ?.In fact she ran & sounded better, than in privious short outings ??.When I bought my HT,the thermostate was missing.Being replaced with 100s of acorns out of the head !!.Im just wondering,if there's still a couple in there. And that is the corse of my engine being to hot,and heavy smoke coming from the breather ??.Ill soon find out Tom !!.

Superb show, despite my HT breaking down.More on that later !! The show organisers couldn't do enough, for vehicle owners.Great turn out of armour, which is rare at any show. The weather was sunny most of the time hooray!!.Id like to say a personal thank you,to all the guys who stayed behind and helped me load my HT.To all the organisers,a big thank you from me.Ill defo be back next year, with hopefully a complete running M16 ie with maxim turret.
