  1. Hi Jan, There are some familiar pictures in the posts about pillion seats....... This one however was riveted well and I couldn't find any later adjustments. I have had another 'rigid' one. If I can find a picture I will send it to you Sven
  2. Patrick has been a trader for many years. You don't have to be afraid that there will be any confusion about payments etc. I would however strongly recommend to view a bike before you buy it. Good luck! Sven

    My latest project

This definitely looks better Ron! There is an American trials tyre available but the costs of getting it to the UK would be exceptional high
  4. This could well be an option; http://www.dutch-lion-motorbikes.com/nl/motorfietsen/new-arrival-norton-16h-year-1945-ex-world-war-2 Many original parts on this bike and the ones that are incorrect aren't unfindable. Patrick is well experienced in international shipments and custom regulations. And there's always room for negotiations.. Good luck! Regards, Sven

    My latest project

Hi Ron, Very nice project. Keep up the good work! Too bad that the Speedways don't fit. Heidenau makes very good quality products. Their 'classic' tyre range (re)started with tyres suitable for classic roadracing. Somebody I know quite well initiated this because of the high demand for 50cc racing tyres with a vintage look. This all went well and Heidenau has a decent classic tyre program Rgds, Sven
  6. Hi all, As I finally found my very wanted WD Norton it's time to introduce myself on this forum (of which I am already a member for over 3 years...:red:). I am a Norton enthusiast for over 20 years now. After some years of classic racing on Manx Nortons I bought my civilised WD16H about 10 years ago. After some investigation I found out that mine came back to Europe from Egypt somewhere in the 80's. That's where my interest in military vehicles got a boost. It would cost me too much time and money to convert my Norton into a military version, so I started to look around for a second one. After many years I finally found the Norton I was looking for; I am now looking for DR stuff, like DR boots in size 12 and DR trousers and a battledress in a large size, so if anyone can help... But, above all, I can't wait for the weather to improve so I can join all the upcoming events. Cheerio, Sven
