I know it is off topic but this would be a better solution to the A place. Every evening I watch the news and I hear that another one of our sons will not be growing old and it brings a tear to my eyes. It is doing that as I am typing this.

Yes indeed.
Thank the Lord we have ICBM's.
Maybe if there is a next time we would have to use them.
I would.:-)

"Peru sends 10 mirage jets to Argentina to replenish losses"
Hmmmm I never knew that. Anyone know if they actually used them ?:argh:
H
Me neither !!!!!!!!!!

I really wanted to go. It coincided with Wings and Wheels this year though,damn....I will have an AEC in the next couple of years but it could be an ergo Mercury or Marshal. Best lorries ever made (excepting Bernadette of course !!!).

Either Elizabeth is very small or Bernadette is a much bigger truck than I imagined from your avatar Worthy of the prize I reckon!
I like the grey pillboxes - I guess they are polystyrene?
Thank you for the kind sentiment. Elizabeth is 5'4". Bernadette is rather bigger. I love them both though.
Thank you to all the judges who liked her because I got the impression that Brian didn't agree with the result. Mind you it isn't American.....

Great pictures, keep em coming
Which one is Bernadette ?
Bernadette is the big green girl.:-)

Yes it will. But I don't know about the legalities of it.

Does anyone know how much entry is for non members?

Absolutely incredible . The turret looks a little different from most '76 s I have seen.

It definately wasn't an uparmoured Pig, and painted in a fairly light shade of green, well of NATO green. I like Pigs and I like FV1600's too. The Pig's bodywork doesn't rot as much though !!!
-
Yes it looked very clean like it was freshly painted (or washed):laugh:

Hi all.
I saw a really nice Humber Pig near Wareham in Dorset today driving about. Does it belong to anyone on the forum ?

My late father, was a keen advocate of lobbing a Polaris Argentina's way!
It would have been a better idea than the losses we suffered fighting ruthless aggression.

Well lets see.
Battle of the Bulge, did not work for me a s a war film or a comedy.
633 Squadron and Ice Cold In Alex classic just goes to prove the had Land Rovers in WW2.
Please Jack can I bring mine to A&E. Iwill even paint a white star on the bonnet as most people thing iit's a jeep anyway.
Battle of Britain so what they used Spanish planes and exploding models, they even blew up a hanger. Beats CGI in my view. The models blew up more realistically than some CGI ones.
Then don't trust my opinion, my favorite war movie is "Kelly's Heroes".
off topic
Best car chase movie Gone in 60 Seconds.
H B Halickis original not the Nicolas Cage remake. No CGI just one car some spares and a big hammer.
Mind you the remake did have Angelina Jolie on an MV Agusta
Mike
Battle of Britain Rocks :-).

Hi all.
Does anyone know a haulier who would transport a 7 ton military vehicle back from Poznan, Poland to the UK or at least Zeebrugge. Preferably as a back load etc....
Cheers,
Richard.

I watched it too. Very good.

I will certainly vouch for this. The 2 yearly test would lead to disaster.....
-
Why have they changed the name? Wings and Wheels was a great name .....

I must admit, I do have a soft spot for the P40 in all it's variants. Not a bad old aeroplane and effective in the right hands.

I don't like them... The first time I got one I thought I was in trouble or something LOL...

Please have this event a week prior or post the current one because it clashes with the HCVS trans pennine. This looks like a GREAT event.....
