That's Chris, who took the photo. One of our lot edited it so that he wouldn't feel left out.

As per usual, poor old Tommy has to make do. Nothing changes (growl). Buy your own kit, if you want anything half decent. Jeez!

It'll be interesting to see how well it holds up, when it's been through the wash, for a couple of dozen times.

Being the tart that I am, I brought some Multicam BDU's in the summer. It's not very good for woodland (summer), but it holds it's own in the autumn. It blends in quite well with concrete too. I still think that terrain specific camo' is the only real option. But what do I know, I'm only an old poacher.
(Multicam trousers on the far left of pic'.)
And for some strange reason, it works well at dusk and in the dark (Strange as it's such a light coloured pattern.).

From what I understand, it's based on Crye Multicam. So why is the Army not using Multicam, even just as a stop gap?

Download the kmz attachment in the first post, and open it with Google Earth. Don't panic if GE takes ages to load up after using the kmz file, it's normal, as there is a lot of info' to process. It's worth checking back on the link from time to time, as the kmz file gets updated.
Have fun!:cool2:

This bunch do a nice little handbook, which will help you to identify the various pillbox types & other stuff. Not a bad website either.

Would I be correct in thinking that anklets and gaitors are the same thing, depending on if you're Army or Navy?

Hi Jenny and welcome. What is it about Essex Girls and ferrets? My Kim (The blond lass in the hi vis Marshal jacket, at the Bunker do.) has three of them! Is it a primal hunting instinct thing or something? :-D

It's a bit early for me and my lads to commit to help out. I'll start bending their ears in the new year. Jack, PM me the details of where and when etc, so that I can copy and paste them on to my forum. Ta!
