Tomas,
I remember this truck from a few years ago. Excellent to see you guys are bringing it back to life. Didn't it come from Portugal or something?

am i right to think international and diamond t made a clone of the autocar
Actually I think the Autocar was identical to the White. Federal built a similar truck, but that one has an obvious curved grille in stead of the flat one on the White and Autocar.
International made the M series mate..M425 and M426..nice looking Trucks...i toyed with the one recently for sale in Belgium....but then finding the "big bit" on the back may prove to be elusive....Yes, I had a look at the truck at the Wings and Wheels show in Belgium, earlier this year. Seemed like a real nice project....some welding needed to the right hand side, but nothing too serious.
By the way there is a second one for sale in Belgium at the moment....dressed in civvy colours.
Anyway, Back to the subject....I really admire you guys for starting a project like this....."not for the faint hearted" comes to mind...
Hope to see new pictures soon!

Great stuff and excellent work!
I have also been looking into these easy spray-systems. Sounds like an ideal tool for MV resto. Anyone who can tell me more about the paint quality itself? Would it be good enough to paint a classic car interior or engine bay as well? Have a Fiat 500 and Chev CMP waiting in line for a paint job....

Mike, Hanno,
Yes, the truck looked terrifc; It was on show at Batterie Hillman in Colleville-Montgomery. I recon it must have been the same one you talked about, Hanno.
Mike, check your email!

Tim,
the work you guys are doing is very inspiring to say the least. Every few days I have a look at your thread and it's great to see which techniques and materials you use to bring the old Dennis back to life. I am really interested how the casting progresses; I don'y kno if porrible, but it would be great to see some pictures of the actual casting process and the steps leading to it. I think most of us only dream of having missing parts casted, so it's great to see someone actually doing it!
Keep up the excellent work!
