I went on Sunday in the Austin. A good day was had! Was ace seeing the Vulcan.

Spotted last sunday night.....A lovely white Showmans AEC matador with a large living van going through colwen bay at about 9.30 pm

This one? If so it was at the Birkenhead Transport Festival at the weekend.

Picture taken a couple of weeks ago at the West Lancs MVT meeting. Along side my K9.

Fairhaven vehicle rally is on this sunday too,so if anyone is up here for the illuminations its a nice free event to go to.(nice laid back rally on the sea front, things for the little uns too ).

This Desert Austin K9 was owned by my Dad when I was born, It was bought from Ruddington by David Crouch and restored and repainted by my Dad. This picture was taken in 1986.

I look forward to seeing more pictures, Its quite a rare marque over here in the UK.

WSK 485. Pictured at a rally mid to late 80's. Looking on the index, there is already a picture of this truck on here, not that I can find it!

JSU 265 is already on here too, now in sand colour.

I love the "in service" pictures of the Austin K9's....:-D

Now this has got to be a rare old girl, Austin K9 Ambulance. According to my Vanderveen book, these were fitted with soft suspension and it was possible to walk into the rear body from the cab.

This one is pictured in the RAF museum London.
