The information supplied the to us says the A11 north bound will be open all weekend . But there are plenty of other routes in and out of Norfolk , a good route is to get on the Bury st Edmunds to Thetford road , that is actually a better route for old MVs .

More kit up and running for this weekend ! The arena is going to be non stop action .
The Ferrets painted and running , now ready for markings and CES to go on, rapier all freshened up, Frog (CET) POLd and Woking hard.
We we have started to move kit over to the show field from our store hangers . Here is a 1922 Russian canon on the move across the airfield.

Rick we now have a great team on board. Things are moving fast on all fronts with the museum. Lots of little jobs getting done bringing lots of the kit back to life . You seem to be doing fairly well with your projects mate ! See you very soon !

Thanks for the comments , looking like the weather is going to be great for the show !
currently being put through the workshop is our 105 light gun and the Tracked rapier. It's looking very possible the rapier will be up and running in a very short time , the engine is cranking and we have found the gearbox oil pipe that is leaking .

It was good to see some of you guys at the north norfolk railway 1940s event at the weekend , glad to hear most people there knew about M.R. - we also recently did a big photo shoot and interviews for the press for the event . Look out for it soon if you are in East Anglian .

Next up 1938 Morris Quad, limber and 1940 25 Pdr . All washed , repaired and running . Now for a fresh coat of paint.
This is just one of our 25pdrs we have. One of the others will be maned and demonstrated by our resident former Artillery officer now 84 years of age) At the show . He has made some brilliant training aids to demonstrate the operation and sighting of a field gun - an amazing chap and well worth meeting if you have the slightest interest in field artillery .

Hmmmm sounds interesting ! All down to the date . It's a busy year next year, I think I will be in France and holland for a lot of the summer !

Currently the museum team are working hard to prep 48 vehicles and arty guns ready for the show . Many of the vehicles are now back in running order after 2 years of storage , we are looking forward getting them out in the arena .

The show ground is now all laid out , we have 20 plus stalls coming , tank rides large and small. I nice large arena ( the Ferret was in top going around it) . Moved loads more vehicles over , it was great fun driving the James Bond T55 trough the Norfolk country side across fields and old runways . The 2S1 drove really well .
