  2. Hi All, I'm rebuilding a 1943 Dodge WC51 for my wife (sounds like a fair Swap) Can anyone tell me the lengths of wood used in the roof hoops, both up and across.

  8. i've been distracted lately recession, when your next door neighbour loses his job depression........ when you lose yours anyway i have done the rear Door and made brackets to hold cables in place made the correct mounting plates to hold speakers etc

They flew in a 105mm light gun and fired it on a point target(missed it) then we got to see the last rounds fired. one miss fire , dodgey round. reason for retirement, guns exceed legal towing limit for an unbraked trailer.(EU) tyres 40 years old (unsafe) ammo getting harder to get (believe that one) who will get them museums and interested parties
  11. On thursday we fired the 25pdr for the last time. heres some pics we were asked to bring an Acmat,these trucks were bought as artillery tractors. also present were the tilbury fort group with their morris and limber this is a former Irish vehicle

  17. We had a barbe last night so i parked the 432 outfront Today, she who must be obeyed, moved it back Our brave friends offering advice how close is that nice parking

  19. now i'm on to fixing up the Foam, what a job./... the only up side is the glue fumes....... I had to strip off.... Steady...... the old diesel soaked stuff and replace it ( do'es anyone know where to get the genuine foam and overcloth?) I had to use a couple of layers and reuse the old cloth Evo is good...   20. i've used both I own a 432,in case i'm accused of bias....... 432 has better protection,similiar mobility,but harder to service, track system is similiar. I've seen mikes get hit with rpg's and they just burn, til your left with rollers and pack. Seating, in Israel the seats were moved to the centreline, back to back. Kit storage was built up over the tracks, helping to stop spalling injuries. Based on my own experiance and barrack stories I'd rather use a 432.
