good quality 20w/50 classic motor oil works best, such as the comma or morris etc, will help keep good pressure even on very long motor way trips.

I've learned something helping rcubed during this project. I am really glad Chevy 1 1/2 tonners have closed cabs, because open cabs are a bl##dy nightmare!!!

Its strange the things I lay awake at night worrying about.............
Does anyone know roughly how many MBs and GPWs still exist worldwide? Restored, unrestored, whatever, any thoughts?
I should be down the pub really
you should be in the shed working!

This has probably been covered many times before, but......
The 110's in the Withams auction? Generally good, or generally bad? Would obviously require a visit to check one out...do they normally go for the guide price, or is it worth a punt and placing a bid lower than the guide?
Just how easy is it to get one of these registered, is it quick and cheap? Are there any gotchas when getting them registered?
Thanks,
Mick
We have worked on some of the 110's from Withams, lets say they were in need of attention all round. cant think why the military got rid of them!

I was taught to pump the pedal 50 times before going anywhere, this will get the bands moving and ready for work, makes gear selection easier and smoother.
always had trouble getting first gear until i was shown this.

I Have just replaced my M20 clutch with a modern clutch set up (wet plates i.e no need to worry about oil ingress), works very well and very easy to put together, the parts are well made would highly recommend it, i ran the same plates in my Indian and it transformed the ride.
