Richard it immediately passes through a needle valve (obviously operated by the float) so it won't get swamped with fuel. Earlier in the year on two Pigs I had occasion to get started after some years, I found the needle valve would stick & it would stop running. I managed to free them with some modest tapping with a hide hammer in the vicinity.
I can only speak from my own experience of Milweb.
I have bought & sold things in free ads, paying for a photo & webverts. I have had no problems whatsoever & very pleased with the service it provides. On a few occasions I have needed to contact the administration & found them to be most helpful.
Richard when you say nothing happened at start up did the yellow light (oil pressure) stay on just as bright or did it dim/extinguish?
If it is the former you need to check with a bulb test prod that when you turn to start you have 24v on SOL lead that comes from switchboard.
If ok then take lid of Ignition Junction Box & check SOL there.
If ok undo multiplug on starter itself & check pin A
Also of course check you have 24v on the main solenoid terminals that are permanently connected to the batteries.
If it was the latter then thats a battery problem,
Very nearly there Alec so you are near the alter!
Very well worked out
Yes it does fit the barrel/muzzle of an artillery gun but not for that purpose. Consider the role that this particular gun plays
Very well done Paul it is indeed that!
Was that deduction or have you seen one before? I've never seen one.
