  1. A couple of years ago whilst attending a function in the Folkestone harbour area i noticed a large number of old commercials parked in the truck park. On making enquiries i was told they were bound for Africa and had been diverted here for collection following a dispute at Southamton, amongst them were a few military including this Foden 10 ton bulk fuel carrier

  2. Nothing really exciting about these photos, i am sure this is the Pioneer still with the REME collection at Bordon or it maybe in the building at arborfield. What is interesting is they were taken around 40 years ago by my good friend Mike Conniford when the tractor was based outside the Moat House, note the the support jacks to take the weight off the axles

  3. I note we have both the 0854 and the 0853 here on this thread, makes life easy when locating matador cabbed trucks. This interesting photo shows the 0854 coles Mk VII series 7 assembling a bomber in London for a display of military equipment, quite why they chose to place it the middle of a derelict building i dont know the space must be quite large to take the plane unless they did not assemble the outer wing sections anyone else have any details on this display

  4. Some of you guys may or may not be aware that the T is my number one subject and has been a favourite since my childhood, since then i have gathered as much as i can on the subject even to the point of writing a book with Robin Pearson as many will know. During the course of putting the book together the research became quite intense and a lot of material was gathered some of which we did not use due to space limitations and all that stuff so as and when i get time i will share some of it with you guys. To fire off here is a 1950s post war 981 in the middle east towing the Dyson50 ton trailer loaded with a sexton

  5. I presume this Albion thread is to cover all models although much of the talk i have seen is on the 3 ton 6x4 at the moment, i will take a chance and put these post war photos here if i am wrong someone will probably shout. The first two are the 10 ton three way tipper and the following two are the R.E workshop FV11102
