  1. If you disconect the Vac pipe from the mainfold, see what the pedal is like then, if it's ok you have a servo fault, I keep the seals in stock for all types Are you sure its a type one? Vac control unit at one end and Hyds at the other. Rex Ward
  2. Hi. Any chance of some info about the dukws. I would like to buy them, They cannot be to bad if you recognised what they were. Regards. Rex
  3. Hi Alan. If you want parts for your dukw / truck or advice I can be found at http://www.dukwparts.com. or you can phone me on 07768684095. Rex Ward
  4. If it was only that easy. 1 adj the side bolt. 2 adj the 1/4 inch dia bolt to pull up one end of the band. 3 tighten the large nut to pull in the other end of the band. If you get it wrong it will smoke, still it is old enough to do that!
  5. If you can see no leaks, take the servo of and give it a shake to see if there is any fulid in it. If so you are in for a kit to rebuild it.

    names

Hi Jack. Most of the named I use for my dukws are very short and start with S or F
  7. The boxs do wear but it is possable to get all the parts to rebuild the box as new. only problem is that it is that job is best left to a pro as you need a press and a reamer to do a proper job.
  8. I have seen that dukw before is was for sale a couple of years ago in Scotland.
  9. You have to be carefull when fitting a non GMC servo as it may well not have the fulid displacemant that is nessary to put on six wheel cylinders. I do have NOS early type GMC servos in stock plus I have the kits to repair them should you get stuck. Rex
