3. Hello saw your post re the trailers,my farming neighbour has what I think is one of these types of trailers,he no longer uses it & I posted some pics of it on here sometime ago to see if someone wants it as I think he will end up scrapping it which would be a shame if you would like me to get some pics of it then let me know regards Andrew (stuntman)north yorks 07709 927324

6. Brockhouse trailer chassis for sale, currently dismantled ready to restore (which makes transporting easier)chassis requires some welding at rear otherwise sound, can supply useable 10.5x13 tyres, lots of pictures available to help with reassembly,i know the wearabouts of a possible 450gal tank to complete it,new project forces reluctant sale, open to sensible offers..Andrew 07709 927324 north yorks.
7. There was a trailer the same as this on a farm were I was a student in 1987,didnt realise what it was back then but thought it was ex military, seeing your pictures brings it all back,it had a strange tank mounted on it which was tapered to floor,it was quite large & would prob hold water to fill the sprayer,i thought it must have been somesort of MOD water carrying trailer but having seen your pics I now know what it once was,the tank was removed & scrapped whilst I was working there, the trailer was kept, mite have a ride over & see if they've still got it.They also had, which I now know to be a brockhouse ex bowser chassis as a straw trailer which was called "bomber trailer",once I got the trailer bug a couple of years back I asked a retired employee of the farm if they still had it as I wanted it but he said I was a year too late as they burnt it (inc tyres) then scrapped it..wot a waste!!
8. ive now fitted a handle ontop, will post pic soon
9. Thankyou, just one of my usual "in my head/back of a fag packet" designs..
10. Is it worth saving & what was it used for??
11. 122168[/AT TACH] Fordson drawbar ive recently made, wanted it to look heavy duty for towing trolleys & fuel bowsers.
12. I was thinking it was later maybe british rail or something as others can be towed behind it but maybe its worth looking at out of interest..
13. This is a trailer I saw in woods, which during the war were used for bomb storage so it got me wondering if it dates from then, the drawbars seized its paintwork looks similar to that ive seen on my own trailers,it has some numbers painted on it,the tyres are solid rubber not sure about the white rims though..any ideas ?
