We have a Humber pig MKI over at Bruntingphorp Cold war jets which some has started to swap the rear axles for MKII units? this person no longer works at Brunt, and we are not sure how she goes back together. We also have an open day this Sunday and would like to have the pig back on duty, so any help with a manual would be extremely appreciated.

For starters you need the parts book:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Humber-1-Ton-PIG-Illustrated-Parts-Catalogue-on-CD-/251319588010?pt=UK_CarParts_Vehicles_Manuals_Litterature_ET&hash=item3a83d094aa

Having it ready by Sunday is a bit optimistic if nobody has any experience of Humbers. We need some pictures of where it has got to & of the bits you are going to fit.

The process in principle is quite straight forward if you are talking about a complete rear axle assembly change. Or has someone just started taking the wheel stations apart? If you are fitting Mk 2 wheels stations ie Birfields (although 104 Mk 2 Pigs did not receive Birfield joints) & Birfields are not covered in that disc you will need EMER WHEELED VEHICLES N257/2 Mod Instr No.10.

Incidentally is this Pig marked up as an ambulance by any chance?
