mr badger
Hi guys, I have, what I believe to be, a military transfer case but I need help in trying to identify it, there are some numbers on a data tag but from my lousy search's I found buttkiss. Type NSN 2520 99 809 Model 6589 if you guys can help it will be very much appreciated
fv1609
Type NSN 2520 99 809Model 6589 I'm afraid that is not a complete NSN, there is a 4-digit group missing at the end. I tried adding 6589 to it, but whatever that was, it comes up as obsolete. Is there no DMC (Domestic Management Code) that precedes the NSN? This would identify the make of vehicle it was intended for.

LoggyDriver
Is that an electrical lead on the rear case? If it is it must be a fairly modern tranny. The speedo drive is the opposite side to that of a Bedford. Has it got a makers name on it and where did you get it from?
