Travel back in time to see & hear what your parents, Uncles, Aunts and Grandparents did: The Mid Lincs MVT is holding their 5th War Years weekend on the above date this year. 7. Guys, a small announcement. A new regional area has been established, the Huntingdon & District Area of the Military Vehicle Trust. Initially covering approximately a 25 mile radius from Huntingdon this will encompass the cities of Peterborough (to the north) and Cambridge (to the SE). http://www.mvt.org.uk/area_pages/huntingdon.html Details of the inaugural meeting have yet to be finalised, but initial thinking is to hold it on the evening of either the first or second Thursday in Jan 2012 in Huntingdon (venue TBA) . Formal letters of invitation will be sent out to all members in the locale in the next week or so. Kind regards to all Ian
  8. Hello My name is Nick and I am from North Nottinghamshire. I am retired far too early but that is another story LOL....I have driven landrovers for previous employment but this is the first time I have owned a series 3 FFR and am really enjoying my new project. As it is an FFR I have restored much of the Clansman kit into the rear and as a licenced Radio Ham since the 1980's I have also used the kit to make contacts over the air. Still got quite a bit to progess with but having no garage and the weather is becoming a problem any new task will be as and when. Anyway hello to everyone...regards Nick
