John, have a look at the information about vehicle markings in Clive's Corner. '50s markings would have been very simple.
Thanks Sean.

Im at the stage with my Austin K9 Truck where I need some expert help with the markings that would have been on the truck during the 1950s, I was hoping to put the Middlesex Regiment colours on it with any other Crests it would of had.
Ive put a canvas back on it so would have been used for cargo or troop carrying,
Hope somebody could point me in the right direction
Regards
John

This year a new initiative in the Netherlands went little out of hands. Somewhere the idea emerged to put candles at the Commonwealth war graves in our Country. In two day it was arrange and great turn out of people this night at 128 cemeteries . Over 200 people joined us at the Airborne cemetery in Oosterbeek including the Dutch NOS news (Dutch BBC news). For next year we will organize it little earlier so we have enough candles for all graves. If you in the area on 24 of dec next year join us.
