This one would look realy good behind an MW with its smaller wheels & lower profile
Now there's a thought. If only you could find someone who's currently restoring one not too far from you......

Nice.! You must have a sixth sense for these things!

Although publised as such, the Bedford MW is in fact an OY with a fire engine body built from the scuttle back, it has large curved windscreens, and looks rather 'different'.

Nice addition. It's amazing whats still out there.

Hello Gerry, just for you a few pics Ive got so many pics its a job to know what to put on, but i am sure they will help some one.
Personally I love to see plenty of pics. Its gives the rest of us some inspiration!

Well done, excellent job as with the brackets!

I don't want to open a can of worms but does anyone have experience or advice on carrying passengers in the rear of trucks that didnt originaly have seating in the rear body?. How do you stand legally and with insurance for instance? I have thought of making some bench seats for the MW that 'look right', what are peoples thoughts?

Done it! Thanks all, I think I'll turn the truck upside down if I ever need to take it off again:wow:.

Thanks all, I am going to have another go tomorrow. Funny enought the cork strips do seem a little wide so maybe I will trim them down a bit. I'll let you know how I got on.:undecided:

OK, before I really lose the plot. Any advice on re-fitting the sump, how do I get the two strips of cork to stay in place at each end of the sump? I can only think of some instant glue??? The handbook makes it sound so easy.:banghead:

Norman Aishe - Bygone Bedford Bits will have 'em.

I'm havin trouble with photobucket so no pics. I dropped the sump off today and was pleasantly surprised, all clean - no sludge!

Brother and I had a few hours fiddling this afternoon and got her firing up again. She makes quite a noise with no exhaust! A bit of fettling and tinkering to do but we are heading in the right direction.:-D

Looks smashing! The extras really finish off our trucks.
I'm not sure what the bracket is for, I'm sure Rippo will pop in and tell us though.
I too need to make some hoops. Perhaps you could let us know how you get on?:-D
What is actually wrong with your gas pipe ones? :cool2:
