welcome in, A TACR1? very nice, any chance of any piccys?
Mark

dont be put off by the LNWR wagon, they travelled all over the uk, not just confined to their own railway

Looks more 64 pattern (pocket pleats)............for far less, khaki and green original KF combat shirts can be had for around 5 - 10 pounds..............try "Sabre Sales" in Southsea or "Surplus and Outdoors" in Kidderminster for starters.........far cheaper proposition than WPG and for an original issue item.......
I know, but cant get originals in my size tho :embarrassed:

Have you been in touch with Foxfield at all?
They have WD820 and might be able to help you as regards history etc?

Doh! Sorry to hear that Mark. It does seem that there are examples out there to find. Was there anything else of interest in the stash?
a couple of items on loan ( according to his wife I will end up with them anyway:D) of note, ROC BD Blouse (complete with his Blue Spitfire Badge) and his ATC Flt/Lt No1 with Gliding Badge!

Welcome to the madhouse!!!
What preserved railway do you work on?
Mark

If this is the sort of detail you are putting into the book mate, I cant wait for it!!
Mark

I would agree......"small" being a compromise between the Army stock sizes of 1 - 3, "medium" being 4 - 6, etc..........:-D Knowing the ROC, the commonest size would most likely have been "large".......:cool2:
thats what I am hoping, large!!!!!!!:-D

what size do these go up to?
