Just in case anybody is interested, here is the finished car with my other police car.

Evening all, 

just a quick question, I have recenty purchased a 2008 Vauxhall Astra estate, ex white fleet, ex RAF Police, and I was wondering if anybody, by chance, has a photo of it at Cosford, or Shawbury, I am assuming she served at either of these 2 bases as all the contracted repairs etc were carried out at Telford. The original registration was DU58BWH. 

The 2 interior photos show where the lightbar and aerial holes were filled in on decommisioning, and happiliy discovered when I removed the roof lining.

Are there many military police cars activly preserved and shown out there? I am thinking saloon and estate cars not landrovers etc?

Was invited down to Hereford with the Impala and display  for the Light Infantry Museum open day on the Heritage Saturday, small turnout, but well attended by the public.

Took the Impala and small uniform display up to Ryhope again, small show, freindly folk, wonderful! (pity the weather on the Sunday was a bit damp!)

yep!! downside being next to the arena I suppose!  Brilliant show though, really enjoyed it and hope to be back next year!

Took the Impala and a small uniform display down to RAF Bentwaters Cold War Museum for their Anglo-American day, was well worth the 4am start from Stoke on Trent! 

Ok, I assume you only recently aquired it? If so have you got a reciept as to when you bought it? you need to download a cform from hmrc, and give them as much info as you can, that is what I did

had to get a nova form for my impala, is the munga registered or is it first time?

Replacement for the much missed DLI Museum event, not many vehicles, but very friendly atnosphere, and the locals tended to ask inteligent questions rather than stupid/silly ones!!

I am thinking of selling my USAF Dodge Ram, but I am in 2 minds as to what to replace her with!

Option 1 is a USAF police car (Impala, caprice etc).

Option 2 UAZ 469.
