sorry for the small image, i will add some more pictures after i've collected the truck.

For the year of manufacture, i've learned from the current owner that it is a 1943.

It has different style doors, as can be seen in the second picture.

Maybe someone can shine a light on this issue, as indeed i know that (at least most) where manufactured from 1944.

And i shall look for issue 30 of Wheels and Track, o someone has an issue that he would sell then please contact me.

    Kind regards,

  2. Hello all,

Just a message to show my happiness.

This Saturday i will be collecting my new acquisition, a 1943 Morris Commercial C8 GS.

Very happy I found this partly restored truck, and I hope to have it on the road quite soon but first I will have a thorough inspection to see what have to be done. Most of the transmission and the engine is restored, and only the brakes have to be done and the radiator is leaking.

When I bought the truck last week we couldn’t find any serious issues, only a lot of cosmetic work to get it right.

So, something to look out for!

    Rgds.

  3. Hello all,

I hope that someone can help me out.

This year i spoke to a person who was camping on the quiet camping and had his Bedford MW for sale.

I admired his Bedford and spoke with him about this truck, i wrote down his telephone number that was put on the "For Sale" sign in the front window of the Bedford MW and promised i'll give him a call later on.

When i came home, i've searched my bags and car but cannot find his Telephone number anymore.....

Does anyone know the man who was camping on the quiet camping this years show and brought his Bedford MW and put it for sale and provide me with his details so i can contact him?

Or someone who wrote this details down?

    I would certainly appreciate it,

    Thank you all,

    Kind regards,

  4. Hello all,

I am not sure if this is the right location to post this question, so if necessary the mods may replace this message to the appropiate location.

As mentioned in my introduction i am looking for a wartime Bedford MW truck and am collecting all the info i can on this lovely truck as possible.

At the moment i am mostly wondering about what the going prices are for these trucks.

I am looking for a (partly) restored truck in a roadworthy condition that i can drive directly.

At this moment i've got projects enough and just want a truck to have fun with.

Hopefully there is someone here that can help me out.

    Thanks,
