Don't hold your breath for 2014 mate , getting time to work on Daisy with paying work and a young family further up the list has made this a rather " STEADY" rebuild  We'll get there one day though , as I also think she is well worth looking after ! :-D

I think Rick was dropping a hint I need to buy it ....... Turning up with my name on the truck ! Anyway here are a couple more images of tank and owner .
Did Dr Hannibal Lecter escape from the new cell in the top photo :wow:? Great to see the Cromwell up and running ! All credit to those involved in the rebuild !

Thoroughly enjoyed the seven days I was there , good friends , good beer and great vehicle displays , showers and toilets VAST improvement from Beltring , I liked the " in " arena organisation and the circuit suited the Pig ( first time I've ever had her up to 4th gear in the arena ) but I did miss a raised vantage point when viewing from outside I admit ! I had been disappointed when it was announced that the show location moved to Hellfire Corner as I enjoyed Beltring so much but the extra 25 or so miles in the Pig where well well worth it ( even being stung by a bee which came through the front visor on the way home :wow: )! Kitcheners field camping surface could be improved greatly by a bit of grass ! Also missed seeing an off road competition organised for the heavy vehicles ! I'll end by saying a MASSIVE thank you to everyone that worked so hard to put the show on and Defo see you next year !
-
Maybe next year. I've only taken the Pig to W&P once so far.
I'll remind you next year mate ! It always seems to come around really quickly !

There's me thinking you'd want to camp with the EMHPA mate :-D:-D:-D Have a safe journey !

Testing Service
If anyone has ignition components (screened or unscreened) that need testing I can test your ignition coils, rotor arms, capacitors, sparking plugs, HT cable etc. I can measure leakage up to 50 gigohms @ 2.5Kv, inductance up to 200H, voltage up to 20 Kv, capacitance, resistance (also can test charging etc with a DC clampmeter up to 400A without having to break into any wires).
No fee, no catch, not trying to sell you anything, I will have the gear with me so might as well put it to use if someone has a problem or wants to test their spares. I should be there from Sunday pm in Shorland with Ex-Military Land Rover Association (wherever that might be!)
I'm sure your Pig would get you there faster Clive ! :-D

Well done mate ! Very impressed all round !

I've been working on my Scammell the last few days and I have not been able to get this out of my thoughts since I first heard ! I don't know the details of the crash so I won't speculate on the cause but I hope all those involved haven't sustained any life changing injuries and have a speedy recovery ! Very sad end to the old Scammell !
-
Thats what I like to see , a man in complete harmony with his Scammell ! :-D
