Nice pics, I hope to go down this road with mine at some stage. Had to patch a 1p size hole in rear x-member for MOT this time, first fail since I've had it but possibly the start of the slippery slope, starting to look a bit tired elsewhere as well so probably due a birthday. Keep it coming I will follow this with interest.

I coloured my LW canvas then waterproofed it with Thompsons, its faded a bit since but still on ok. I didn't put it on too thick, just sprayed it enough to colour it, perhaps that is the secret. Maybe because it was slightly pourous the paint soaked in and stuck better, would that make sense? Oh and I used RR NATO green paint.

Wife to Husband; "When I said it might be an idea to pack a book or something to keep you occupied on this cruise this is'nt quite what I had in mind"
Husband to Wife ; "Well I thought it was damn decent of Cunard to give me a sea view cabin to get on with my restoration, it'll be ready for W & P 2011 yet!!"

Jack ............. sorry best I can do
Although my jeep was once owned by Peter de Savaray (if anyone has heard of him), he had it painted bright orange, traces of which I found on some of the bits during restoration.

they just dont 'get it'
Having the same problem myself, you tell them just what you did (probably with quite a scary amount of enthusiasm) and they just say "oh right" or some other feeble comment. Then they proceed tell you how excited they got at some dismal episode in their own little world. :banghead:
Pah Phillistines!!!! :pfrt:

Saw the first one, quite good, I was surprised that he was in amongst some action so to speak fair play to him. I'm not a great fan of his cheeky (some might say dodgy) car dealer style but the episode in the Chinook, not unsurprisingly, took the wind out of his sails a bit.
