While in Normandy in 2004 some friends of ours stayed in a gite near Etreham and there was a photo on the wall showing the pipeline running up the verge past the house, there was also a piece of the pipeline outside the door as an ornament. I have a photo of it somewhere.

First and foremost Jack, this wouldn't have been possible had it not been down to YOU and ALL YOUR GOD DAMN HARD WORK. So hold up your right hand, turn your palm towards yourself, reach down :wow::wow::wow::nono::nono::stop:
Oooops it's ok, sorry Rosie I just read a bit more of the sentence, panic over.
Yes Jack, you definitely need to give yourself a pat on the back.

Fascinating resto and a very impressive end result, hats of to you.

So, post a pic of your hair then.
For a lot of us the battle versus hair and baldness makes it a bit unavoidable to cut our long hair.
No need for pics you will see me at A&E, and I don't consider myself as going bald I just convinced myself that I was standing a bit further forward in relation to my hair than I was in my youth.

Hi Spood.
I have a complete set of issued panniers for a Harley - if you are interested.

Thanks for the offer Mark but I am sorted on that front. It's actually an Armstrong with HD side panels on. I probably won't touch it much for a bit as I have loads of other stuff to do before the end of June. Of course there will be time out for A&E but we couldn't miss that could we.

I'm cutting out the cardboard panels as we speakNow try and turn that into a wartime WLA lookalike -

Personally I'm glad there is a hosepipe ban, I wouldn't want to be out watering the garden in this weather!!

I have a Galaxy S2 and I love it, no complaints at all.

I'm not sure Joris but I think a device like this has been discussed on here before in the dim and distant past. I think probably Mr Elliot would be the man to advise on this.

The other half has decided to take the plunge and do a bit of dressing up, she found a website called atsfanyuniforms and duly sent them an e-mail, about a week ago, to which we have had no reply. My question is, does anyone have any experience of this operation and if so is it worth persevering with them. It does say their web site is undergoing work so this could be the reason. Secondly any suggestions as to where else to look.
Thanks in advance Don

Lightweight brakes
in British Vehicles
Posted · Edited by Spood
Dodgy spelling
The rear brake on my LWeight is sticking on quite tightly, with a bit of coaxing I got the drum off ( actually after giving it some stick with a rubber hammer) and everything appears to be free moving. I've put the drum back on and off a few times and applied the brakes and it sticks but if you prise the drum a bit to move it the brakes release on their own and it comes off easily, any ideas what it could be as I can see nothing obvious. The brake pipes all appear ok as I have heard about flexys degrading inside and blocking but there are none on the back axle as I can see. If there was one in the line to the back wheels further up the system would it not effect both rear wheels. Any suggestions welcome.
