Hi
Does anyone know where I can find a diagram that shows the internals of an MW horn push and what parts are needed to make it complete. I have the horn push but the internals were missing from mine so I don't know what's missing or what parts are needed .
A photograph would be helpful if anyone has one , I could maybe get alternate parts if original ones are not available and make it good.
Thanks

I knocked this rough copy up last night and I'm considering getting maybe 10/12 made out of Billet Aluminium or depends on if there is a minimum order quantity .I'm just gauging if there is any interest before I go ahead and get the blanks made .I have the exact spec blank made from an MW holder to get them made off .
I don't know what the cost will be to get the blanks made or how many I'll have to have done as yet , see what the interest is first .

Where these blocks fitted to all MWs or just the early ones do you know? Mine's pretty original and does not have them????
Andy mines a 43 and it has the wooden blocks fitted , I've not replaced mine they are original to the truck .

Hello
I wonder if anyone can aim in the right direction for the following parts .
I'm after the studs that hold the radiator grill and canvas screen in place, the vehicle has been in bits that long can't find the damn things :undecided:, a steering wheel nut ,also the following part as in the picture for the dynamo .It's the actual fibre/mica insulators that I need but if anyone has the whole piece they would like to sell I'll take the lot :-) .
Or is there a refurbisher of Dynamos who could possibly sell this part separate as the rest of the Dynamo is fine , also after the handbrake and gear lever boot , I'm sure I've seen someone making the repo's of these .
I've tried Chris Mortar and Norman at Bygone Bedfords but no luck .
Thanks

Sold for £18,700 (£17,000 + £1,700 premium), so with an estimate of £17,000 to £20,000 is the donkey looking forward to having dinner with you? :-)
:wow:
Well better go get the kneeling mat out

Dave,
Was able to get an exchange item from Chris Mortor, hope that resolves the problem.
Trevor,
Will add looking at the pedal adjustment when I come to fit the cylinder.
Many thanks
Andy
good stuff

Dave,
Mine is U/S. Had it re-sleeved but it still has the same problem, even changed the seals again !
To work the brakes I need to apply foot pressure twice, the first is to pump up the pedal then it will work (remains solid as long as pressed). It would appear that the first pump acts as a shuffle to get the rear piston (front brakes) to work ? Once released it loses pressure, all pipe work has been checked over and there is no loss of fluid. So thought the best solution is to replace, even one requiring a referb would be acceptable ?
Andy
Ah right ,did you have it done by the lads at the link above ? They did mine ,we fitted it all up with the refurbed cylinders and all seems ok , I'll find out better when I get it actually on the road and drive it in anger . The pedal on mine seems normal but I'll watch out for that .
I'm sure Mike had one .

Looking for a BEDFORD MW master cylinder?
Andy
Hi Andy
Is yours US ? or do you need another . Reason I ask, I sent mine away and had it resleeved with S/Steel and new piston etc ..................http://www.pastparts.co.uk/index.php?route=information/information&information_id=4
I think Mike Shackleton had one a while back that needed a refurb .

Does anyone know of a compnay that can recore/renovate an original Willys rad mine split on the top seam yesterday . I would rather have the original renovated if possable or if no one does that ,where I can get a good repo one from .
Thanks

Is it being sold as a Willys or Ford lol .just to be a rivet counter for a change lol , 12v conversion , Solex Carb , late water pump , Willys lighting switch ,the add on indicators/sidelamps under the reflectors look crap , jubilee clips on the hoses naff , white indicator switch on the dash where the lighting switch should be ,extra long valve stems ? Top Bow thumb screws and chains missing ,chains missing off screen thumb screws , never seen an ariel mount like that one ,Ford toolbox lids , Ford crossmember so obviously a Ford .
The GLOSS paint job I personally think looks rubbish ,also disapointing they never showed the bullet holes
Its an easy job to rectify the above plus a new paint job .
What I do like about that Jeep is the early windscreen without the rifle holder mountings would look nice on my 42 Willys
If that reaches the estimate , I'll go eat grass with the donkey lol
