  1. Yes quite right i do have one here, and there were actually 3 types of body there was a radio body that had a side entrance doors, see if i can dig out some pics, I only know of one of those bodys and its in Suffolk. The 3 window as NOS has said is the post war version built by the Swiss. Hope this helps.

are mark out at two inch centres along the centre line to accommodate up to five stars and the stars are silver

Thanks for that I am after the size of the US Army generals, sure I will find it.

    Thanks

    Howard.

  3. Sunday I met up with friends who all happen to be Dodge WC53 Carryalls, we all managed to get together and convoy over to a suffolk village of Lavenham home to the 487th Bombardment. We all met up on route and landed in the market square for 9am. Its proberly a very rare sight to see this number of WC53s together so heres a couple of pics. Some of you may have seen these on facebook.

  4. I have for Sale a Bedford TJ, PACKHORSE. its a early Reynolds Bolton conversion. The year is 1973 tax exempt, it comes complete with a snow plough which lowers up and down by means of a hydraulic pump. The woodwork is in good shape, the tin work is also good the truck shows signs of some ware and tear as you would expect. its showing 77000 miles. The engine is the petrol bedford 300. The tyres are like new with no cracks these were fitted just before the truck was laid up in a barn for several years. I have fitted a new clutch and pressure plate along with a new bearing. The truck starts runs and stops, the brakes are air over hydraulic. The interior could do with a spruce up but its not to bad. If you need to know any more then please PM me. OR call 07545 107174 price on application. Howard

  8. Well the two rear seats have been fabricated, painted and fitted into place, a big thanks to Adrian for making the rear seat frames. I have also made the ply wood seat backs and bases and have had the cushions made up. I have now fitted these to the seat frames, the truck is coming on really well now not to far from being done.

  9. I have on its way coming over from the US a 1941 Packard Clipper Junior 4 door Sedan. The car is very solid and in its original Black livery.

It has its original straight 8, which ive been told is all up and running and is sweet. The car will need to be recommissioned, but would make a fantastic staff car. I do believe Isenhower had one of these cars as his personal staff car. The car can be bought as is or fully restored as a staff car. Please pm for any more information or give me a call. 14. It's looking very straight and clean Howard, not many WC53 do. I sent you some images of the rear window winder mechanisms, so if you are still short one let me know. I think I'm out of most of the Carryall-specific stuff now, though I did discover a pair of NOS front door winders too.

Hello Gordon are check my emails later. Yes she is a straight truck. I've also fitted the canvast panel in the roof. Thanks Howard
