  1. Hi Gents ! For anyone foolish enough to encourage me to talk about those heady days of WW2 you could do worse than look at my Blog Profile which contains links to all my WW2 stories: http://www.blogger.com/profile/17035008 Will pop in occasionally to answer any queries Regards Ron
  2. Just returned from Latrun where my wife & I were priviliged to have a conducted tour of this super museum. One of the tanks I was looking for was the Stuart Mk3 "Honey" simply because I served in one of these in wartime Italy. The only difference was that "my" one was turretless which, although it made it faster and easier to use for it's chosen role as a recce vehicle also left it wide open to receive whatever the enemy chose to throw at you  Ron
  3. As a complete newbie to the site, I thought I'd dip my toe in the water by making a comment here. I post a fair amount of stuff on another forum and wondered if this post, that concerns military headgear, might be of some interest. http://www.ww2talk.com/forum/weapons-technology-equipment/30465-black-berets-how-they-were-worn.html Regards to all Ron
