We have a nice little rally coming off around september and its set in the woods at the Norchard Steam center just outside lydney. For the weekend yanks/brits/germans should be a nice chillout weekend .

A chap on Soldiers of Steel has put me in touch with an outfit called Paladin Trucks in the states.

They import Mitsubishi Jeeps and parts so I'll see if they can help.

As for a drive out ,,,,any time is a good time for a run out, Where in the country do you live and if its not to far i can give you a shout or if there is a rally on we can convoy BUT you may get a bit borred waiting for me or behind me as i nearly allways have the 155 on the back and thats a bit of a lump.....but yep i am up for it and we may even sneek in the odd firing of the 155 or the 50cal:cool2:

Before you go to the exspence of a strip down Go on the STEEL SOLDIERS website and ask if there is a simple solution to the problem it maybe something you can do yourself and it could save you a few quid.

I like RMS idea a lot with a 12 bore cartridge but i hate the scum so much i would probely use a 155mm shell but the problem with that is i would never know who it was (such a shame) oh well never mind about them,,,, my grapes are doing well now ???:cool2:

After having one or two things go missing off the truck and gun by the scum of this world and the powers that be a waste of time and effort.

I found a legal way of bringing the scum to justice and a way they can not say IT WUSUNT ME OFFICER.If you google (Digital scouting camera) have a look. As i have just bought one and it is a great thing to have .I have mine in the shed up high and pointing at my kit,the batterys last for 5 to 6 weeks and the photos and videos it takes are perfect even at night in total darkness , but the good thing about this is it sends the videos or photos instantly to my mobile phone and my email and even if they find the camera its to late as the picture has allready been sent to my phone and email address.

Now mr burgler say it was not you:D

Well what can i say ...........What an absulute blinder of a show again and it was good to meet some members from the forum---- r-cubed and rosie amongst others . This show seems to be just going from strength to strength and I am sorry to any forum members i on sunday i didnt talk to much but on the saturday night i was held prisoner in the Bar and then freed by some waffen ss troopers on a motorbike and side car.

A big thank you Paul for helping me hitch the Gun up as its a lot of work on your own----- Cheers Paul

Been on hire to them a few times ( goodboys is right )

They are a big company now with loads of big iron shame they dont get in to the Green iron a big crew like that could do a lot for the MV world in this part of the country.

Neither are pristine show winners, but trying to portray a used and functional look, I don't mind the mud and dust it makes them look just right.

then portray it as that moment in time As this is what you have succeeded in doing and looks just perfect to me .

I see a lot of kit restored to a very high standard and is very nice to look at and drool over if you like an MV to look like it just came off the asembly line.

Personaly i like the used look.

You have to comply to UK deact regs as specified by my choice the Birmingham Proof House, which I have to say were very very helpful, I got all relevant parts to comply and then paid for the cert. Job done.

I went back up the Truck today and there is still blood on the step ( dosnt matter as i am spraying her anyway BUT i have a problem can anyone answer this problem ? HOW do i stop a pigeon from crapin on my bonnet without putin a hole in my windscreen or a dent in the truck as it has taken to roosting on the bonnet:banghead:

Helping out a friend last few weeks.

Hit my head a few times (what's up with these miniature British doorways?), 1 time on a sheds loft against a steel I-beam, nice lump on head.

 

Yesterday I was walking without shoes and hit my right foot (toes) against a little ledge. The 2nd toe has a blue joint with blue stripes running towards the foot on both sides. :-X

 

It doesn't hurt anymore but when it happened I used some carefully chosen words... :angry
