I along with my father who has been collecting vehicles for 35 yrs + and brother have a small collection of WW2 vehicles in South Somerset. Our collection consists of 1 x 1942 Willy's MB which has been the subject of a nut and bolt restoration, a 1942 Scammell Pioneer SV2S currently under going full restoration, and a 1942 AEC Matador a future project. We share our storage facility with a CMP and another MB. This site is an invaluable resource for anyone with even the smallest interest in Military Vehicles and the diversity already displayed on its pages is incredible. Keep up the good work everyone !!

Jack I too have had my eye on this Matador for some 10 years or more, the owners are Powells of Sherborne, we too can give it a good home with our Matador and Scammell Pioneer in Yeovil. Although we have pursued it on many occasions the owner is always slow in responding. I have heard that the timber yard is to be let again forcing him to make a decision soon, hopefully. May the best (or crazy) man win. Cheers
