The medal in the attached picture belonged to my late father, Walter GUY, who started WW2 as a regular soldier with The Medical Corp.
He was diverted to France at the outbreak of war, and endured Dunkirk, before postings to Africa, Greece and Italy. He then tranfered to the Parachute Regiment and was wounded and captured at Arnhem, returning home in a Lancaster bomber at the end of the war.
We can identify his other medals-- Africa Star etc but this one is proving very difficult and any help would be appreciated.
