  1. Trevor served his National Service with the RTR in the early 1950s, and attached are a number of pictures of him and his mates. If you know him please get in touch my wife would love to hear from you, and if you didn't, then just enjoy the photos.
  2. Hi, The medal in the attached picture belonged to my late father, Walter GUY, who started WW2 as a regular soldier with The Medical Corp. He was diverted to France at the outbreak of war, and endured Dunkirk, before postings to Africa, Greece and Italy. He then tranfered to the Parachute Regiment and was wounded and captured at Arnhem, returning home in a Lancaster bomber at the end of the war. We can identify his other medals-- Africa Star etc but this one is proving very difficult and any help would be appreciated.

  4. Just a quick hello from new member Charlie1, from the West Midlands in England. I blame Airfix for a love all military machines from WW2 on. No military service (almost RAF but careers officer at school talked me into tool making instead..... I'll never forgive him).
