Hi
Will have a few years of searching in front of me while completing the resto do you happen to have a good close up image of the enamel badge I should be looking for ?
-
Congratulations. I am looking forward to following your resto log, just as a few years ago with your C15 on MLU!
good luck,
Alex
Cheers Alex am looking forward to starting the restoration

It's a Sno-Trac by Fisher Aktiv I think, and that one probably isn't military.
There were a bunch of them with canvas tops used by the military, and the forces probably had some hard tops as well, but mostly they seem to have been civilian. VW Beetle power plant, nice thing, worth having if in good condition and the right price
Yes I think it does have a Beetle engine and it is for sale though I am not sure what its worth, seems to be in fairly good nick and is certainly something different will try to find out who owns it and price.

Just a quick note that all images posted on this thread by me are my property and are copywrite and must not be reproduced elsewhere by any means.
After many months of searching I am now the proud owner of an MWD thanks to a chance encounter at the Dallas digout I now have this little beauty to keep me busy for a while. With the chassis No. MWD 294* looks like its a quite an early aero screen .
Yes MW's can be grown in a greenhouse
All strapped down and ready to roll
65 miles later and using my mate Neils Dodge to pull the old girl off the beaver tail
Reg and the rivet
All tucked up in new shed note clean carpet !!
Very great thanks firstly to Shawn I hope you enjoy watching her restoration also to Reg and MF Freeman for use of the Beaver tail and my old mate Neil for helping unload and push her into the shed with the Dodge, more pics to follow

HI Paul
What shame its gone abroad :embarrassed: didn't seem to meet up with you much last season what with the weather etc etc, so whats the next project then ? I have just found a lovely 1939 Aero screen Bedford MW as my next adventure in restoration land though its going to be a long term project, more of a hobby than job like the Champ thing.
Good to see you on here, catch you soon
Jeremy.

HI All
I may have been gifted an artifact which may have come from from a crashed Halifax bomber and I am trying to find out more information about this aircraft and the circumstances surrounding its loss.
The aircraft may have crashed in 1944 Nr Blaenavon in Wales, all crew baled out but thats all I know I'm afraid.
I did a bit of a google search but have found no mention of this incident.
Any info much appreciated.
Cheers RR.

Cheers Richard thought it would be something like that, I have a small oil refinery close to me who will provide any / all types and grades of oil which comes in handy :cheesy:
