I know what song we will be singing on the next dover trip now Richard.

The womble of Wimbledon Richard is he,

The womble of Wimbledon Tunneling with me,

Going down deep in the caves that we find,

Looking for relics the troops leave behind.

  2. I was at the time an imps member and did read the news letter. I know an imps member that phoned for tickets as soon as he received the news letter and was told they had all been given out so I am sorry if i have trouble believing that it was first come first served.

The imps member i refer to has since given up his membership of many many years in discussed at having to pay to enter w&p as a member of public seeing as its supported by the imps.

  3. As its the 25th anniversary and they want to make this one special maybe to gain more interest from MV owners they should let us in for nothing. As Clive Stevens said he wont go due to being charged £25 and I bet he is not the only one so if the fee way waived this year I bet there would be more of responce from MV owners even if they are like Clive WW2 owners :-)

(Only joking Clive lets not start another WW2/Post War debate)

  4. I am sure i read somewhere that the imps had 100 free entry tickets for its members that were not taking vehicles last year, i bet they got handed out to the elite.

I prefered it when W&P only charged £10 for MV owners to enter - surely they make enough from the public and stalls so they could let us in for free. Please correct me if im wrong but dont re-enactment groups get in for free and they still use the showers and create rubbish so why are the MV owners charged.
