Hi, The 70s / 80s snow gaiters canvas and leather mk1 are made of thick Khaki Canvas with no zip or fastening that slip over the foot and have a tie string on the top with grey leather straps to go under the sole of the ski march boot, very hard to come by, I have a pair not sure what markings they have though there packed away at the moment I'll have a look when I get time. Hi, Hopefully someone can help me, Have seen pics of troops in Northern Ireland circa late 70s early 80s with their Storno CQP800s PMRs carried in a web pouch attached to the belt that looks to be theatre produced but cant be sure as the pics arn't very clear, does anyone have any info / pics etc of this type of carrier. Hope to get hold of one or have one made up if possible. Cheers Dan.

Hi all, Danny here, I have an interest in all things military but mainly British, WWII Royal Navy and 1970/1980,s Navy, Marines and Army (N.I., Falklands etc) and also collect & re-enact from these periods. I served as a Gunnery Rating in the Royal Navy from late seventies to the mid eighties. Cheers Dan
