Hi all, Here are a few pictures of my 969 which I recently bought from a local farmer. As can been seen it is mostly there apart from a complete windscreen frame and a passenger seat. Does anybody know if the tie down hooks under the rear body would be an orginal fitment? Regards Jack

Hi all, Here's a few pics of my Dad's restoration on our '42 Ford Jeep. It took him 18 months to restore from a rolling chassis to road worthy condition. However, prior to purchursing the jeep we were informed that the engine had been "reconditioned" which we soon found out wasn't the case. When he went out to fire it up the engine was locked up on the mains, after stripping the engine down it turned out that the main bearings were put in upside down, 3 of the pistons were fitted round the wrong way, 3 of the con rods were also round the wrong way and there was no end float!! Moral of the story, don't believe everything that people tell you! Regards Jack

Hi deadline, after discussing the issue with Rex Ward and another GMC owner the information that you supplied would have resulted in the water pump cracking Regards Jack
-
Hi all, which direction should the water pump bearing come from? Should the bearing come out of the fanblade end or should it come from the impeller end? Regards Jack
-

Hi all, does anyone have a diagram of the standard wiring for a GMC? Jack

Hi David, yes the wiring on your truck sounds very similar to ours. If you want all four or a pair make me an offer for them and we can take it from there. Obviously there will have to be postage on top of that Regards Jack
