a great question and i hope leads to some interesting answers. i cant see the level of care us amatuars give being applied to every part of the vehicle but i reckon the things that meant life and death recieved more care than any enthusiast would ever lavish

  2. ken Tout's books maybe to give an idea of ww2 tank combat, or, the auther escapes me at present but a book called mailed fist its about churchill tanks but a compelling book worth a read (must get it back of my mate yet another book overdue from the sharky libary).

Maybe if your feeling brave write kevin wheatcroft a letter and you never know might let you have a look at least round his shermans ?????? if in doubt Blag

  6. Firstly remove lock bar and try tightening nut i,ve had a few that i've cured with a tweak if this only cures it tempory then Its not that difficult a job to remove hub, as i think gasket seal wont really do much good behind nut cos the seal is on back part of hub.

Not sure as to where to pick up new seals etc but no doubt someone on here will know.

Any help needed just gimme a shout and i'll see what i can do

  7. This is a niggly one after running my fv432(mk 2/2 k60 multifuel) for 2 to 3 hrs it will not re start?

It does not turn over just clicks so i check and reset trip on dlb box it then trips again as i push starter switch. ok at this point i get annoyed walk away for an hour or two come back she starts no problem. Obviously this is a temperature related thing and was just wondering if anybody maybe ex R.E.M.E might be able to help me .

Any clues or solutions greatly appreciated

    cheers and beers
