I was quiet relived to see that the military use of a sheep, was as a hatstand-it was with some trepidation that I searched an Australian site for a picture involving sheep and sailors :roll:

I sort of get this problem, but I just pause the clip and do something else for a few minutes and let it build up a bit of a buffer. They play fine after that :computerterror:

I can get to Beltring for about the same (£100-150) in a series 3 FFR with a radio repair trailer and a full load (radios, 12 metre scam mast, tents, cooking gear etc etc). You must have a lead foot (and a hole in your fuel tank)

Check out the autotrader for an idea ( http://www.autotrader.co.UK/ ) they start at a couple of hounded for a ropey one, to £10000 for a complete rebuild. The average seem's to be about £1500. It's probably best to get any older vehicle checked out by somebody who is familiar with them as well (Yes I've got a degree in stating the obvious :-D)

I can't resist :-D adding that by that theory, when the light's were switched off (infinite resistance) You would also have infinite current-you might need to add some more batteries unless you can leave your light's on all the time! :dunno:
