  1. Back in 1972 when we brought the ALBION CX22 .I went to the HGV testing station at purfleet. The man in charge went through all the exceptions and found that we could use exhibitions vehicles as a exception .And for driving .because none of us had a HGV licence .It weight is about 9 tons. 8.11 feet wide 24feet long. We got the exception

    because the vehicle was going to be kept at IWM DUXFORD .And still is. It will be out for The DUXFORD SHOW & hope to take to BELTERING TONY CORBIN

Yes their is a Thorneycroft Amazon crane at Duxford somewhere.The resteration was started some years ago but has come to a stop.It was towed in from Yorkshire behind a scammell constructor After both vehicles had completed the Transpenine run in the mid Eighties.The Bedford OXC & MWC have both been at Duxford for the past 30 years.They were both privately owned but sold to the IWM .AS was my QL Bowser.Their is a AEC Matador 6X6 Bowser somewhere.The Albion CX22 Will be out for on the vehicle show .If anybody would like a good & a sit in cab find COLIN or TONY

  3. Are their any owners of US NAVY - USMC vehicles who like to get together at a show this year.It would be nice to get as many as possible in one place. May be Duxford or beltring .If anybody is intrested please contact. TONY CORBIN
