Hi Mate.
The L 10 is the way i would go all so. great engine and easy to work on if your
not worried about originality and what people think. It's your vehicle and it's only
so long you can keep getting the parts.
L10 would be more reliable considering the amount of times you have the old girl out
in the year at shows and playing in the snow.:-D
And be better for your pocket when filling the old girl up
Good luck

I'll make some calls to a couple of people to see if they have an engine kicking around.
Hasen't antarmike got one kicking around.?

Hi Nick.
A Last resort. have you seen this before. Great stuff, not cheap but may be worth a go.
I used it in a Transit 60,000 miles more, sold the van and she's still going now. not to sure how it would go in the exploreer but may be worth a try.

This afternoon we moved the F8 to it's new home after spending most of Wednesday clearing out a space for it.
It was pretty dusty/dirty after being inside a barn for the majority of the past year but the rain and snow it had fall onto it on the way to its new home cleared a little bit of that off!
Where it is now means we will be able to have it out a lot more to show in 2011 after a pretty lean 2010.
Hi smithy
she's a dam site cleaner than some of the fire trucks i've been working on lately.
lovely vehicle.

Better to leave the rusty old staples in the paper. They only brake.
I do like the row of old scammell fire pumps on page 3.

Hi Neils. I'll send you a copy Tomorrow.

I Think if i'm correct, this was published in May in the Historic year 1944.
As far as I know there are not that many complete about. But i do have a scanned copy on my computer:D. makes very good reading.

I would suggest its because its fitted between line of vision and wiper swept area of windscreen
That is what is was told at the mot station by the inspector. when it go's for the next Test i will remove the camera screen and the yellow strobes from the dash and screen and will proberly think about re positioning the reverse camera screen lower down. are well we live and learn. At least this info saved another MV owner from making the same mistake.:-D
