remember that as a 12 year old lad at time in the mud and my father winching the not so able trucks with a chevy quad when it was time to leave camping field . it was at a horse racing track somewhere. remember they kept pouring petrol in brockway !!! there was also a QL stuck which the brockway went to rescue it was all done for fun i believe.

hi in answer to rambo1969 question it cost 99 pounds each which included coach travel from farnbrough air museum to biggin hill then coventry back to farnbrough. if you look on air atlantique web site it list dates for trips. or get enough people and charter a flight for a hour its all you need !! we got our trip from hodges coach travel who had a add in surrey advertiser.

Hi all . Went on a air atlantique c47 classic flight yesterday from biggin hill to coventry at 1500 feet great view of London below and duxford and jet cars racing at santa pod . sat in first row of seats behind cockpit which is in line with engines . could see pilots at controls and hear roar of engines at take off and viberation through the single skin fuselage no sound insulation here .best flight i have ever been on .

hi i think i counted 1 painted and eight awaiting paint c58 s when i dropped in where they were made on southcoast . Best thing you could do with nine landrover chassis and axels . :-) :-)

it looks like a whats left of a cmp12cab chev my father got hold of and started to restore that had the same winch and and spring helpers grafted in and onto it as none standard items. the truck was used as a breakdown for morgans of bishopwaltham.my father sold it to a guy who wanted it for spares and the new rear steel gs body he made from scratch for it.it could be the one or its twin !
