What paint are people using? I'm currently using some paint from militaryvehiclepaint.co.uk It seems to be rather soft and marks easily.

What museum is the Horsa image from? The glider manifest is just a scrap of paper but from it Neil Jones from the Night Fright restoration managed to find out who the glider pilots and tug pilots were. Bit of an unusual request but here goes....Is there anybody out there that could let my father view a 75mm howitzer? We've just uncovered my grandfather's service in the war which turns out to be a bombadier in 64 Air Landing Light Royal Artillery. I found a scrap of paper which turned out to be a glider manifest. Due to this a picture was found in the states of a glider pilot stood next to my grandfather before operation Dragoon. So my father would like to see exactly what his father would have been operating. If anyone is at a show with one that would be ideal. We're Suffolk based but happy to travel.

Data plate is missing sadly but there is one screw left in place. Clips and remnants of grommets for cable run still exist along with 2 circular marks where the junction box and switch for the lights used to be.

After buying a C8 and mortar trailer I find myself strangley drawn to the mortar trailer. Its rusty and bent but I've stripped it and have the frame on a trolley so I can move it about.

Any idea what gauge the steel is OzH, I'm guessing at 10

That's great thanks. Lighting cable hole is present as you say, plus clips on the frame and remains of the convoy light.

The hitch mounting area on my mortar trailer is looking a bit crushed as well as twisted. Was there originally a spacer tube between the mounting holes?

Does anyone know if the box on the mudguard is correct? Same goes for the 3 pairs of brackets on the inside of the trailer.

Today I collected a Morris C8 GS, spare engine and mortar trailer. Been stood outside with no canvas on it for a while so there's a bit of work to do 😬

Looking for C8GS front, side and rear canvas. Ive tried Frank Brown but he has a long waiting list.
