    If youve got sky well worth a watch, every sunday on dicovery real time (133). an excentric londoner builds things from scrap and relics he finds, and drives around in a great dodge command car!
  2. yeah, the tub will be back on the chasis by christmas, planning on getting bar grips from stonely in january. hopefully on the road by febuary.

    got my self a great 6v black out light for the fender of my jeep for £8 bulb and mount included.
  9. saw set's for sale at malvern for £40, thought making a set ourselves would be cheaper and give the desired effect more. are there any diagrams or dimentions anyone can give me for these? Thanks.

  14. Thanks demon, allso my oil filter reads 'Military Standard Filter' on it's top. does this mean it is a second world war filter or a post war Hotckiss one?
  15. can any one tell me what colour the oil filter on a jeep should be? olive drab or black?

  22. Demon our Jeep is ITM 0017939, but our French Log Book gives A Chasis Number MB 365678. Thats about all we know. The engine is WOF (6v) with a number plate, the tub is Hotchkis everything else if Ford or Willys. I will post-up some picture when I can work out html! John B [/img]
  23. Thanks Demon, we were looking for heat proof paints, but we would prefer to use our standard olive drap if possible. We were inspired by your photo's noting that your garage looks much like ours does (even down to the position of the axle stands!) thanks, Bowie
  24. my jeep came with a sheller steering wheel. does this date it to world war two?
