That link has a picture of the Bedford and hitch, its listed as ex BBC. So maybe no military link.

Cheeky question but don't suppose you fancy another? It has the original engine still fitted.
I dont think I'd have a home to go to if I even brought up the idea of another......:laugh:

Hello all,
My latest projects have landed, I've bought a pair of Fordson E4 wagons. I have had the one fitted with an engine running (yellow one), but looking for user handbook and workshop manual if anyone has one to help work out what everything does. The green ones original engine is now powering a bren gun carrier!
Thanks guys and gals

Try on retrorides forum, they love the unloved!
-
Yes please Sean!
cheers

Thanks Richard. All I have to do now is find someone who has three of the few remaining Commer cab Fords and needs an auxiliary gearbox shift lever gaiter and a right hand window winder for all of them!
I have done a deal on two, due to arrive very soon! Very interested in NOS parts for them!
Cheers

[/center]My memory of RLs is smashing your elbow on the back of the cab when changing from 1st to 2nd.....
Yes, I found this too, the key is to change how you're holding the lever (hand in front pushing back rather than on top!).
Good luck with the rebuild. RL's have always been my favourite truck ever since seeing the chassis twisting as a child!

His ebay name says it all.....:nut:

Welcome Peter,
K9's are great trucks, good luck in your search!

Thank you PT! :-)

Thanks again Richard. I know there are many variants such as radio relay, wireless repair etc.
-
Thank you Clive and Richard.
So would this be a unique number to this K9, or would it have been shared with all K9's with the same equipment?
Thanks again!

Complete write off? Am I on the right site?!
I personally think that it looks quite solid, it would look a different vehicle after a pressure wash.

Ahh, I skipped the sizes bit! :-)
