I have no details, I picked it up in France, drove it around for the 65th Anniversery. i'm only getting to the rebuild now.

Hi All, I'm rebuilding a 1943 Dodge WC51 for my wife (sounds like a fair Swap)
Can anyone tell me the lengths of wood used in the roof hoops, both up and across.

They flew in a 105mm light gun
and fired it on a point target(missed it)
then we got to see the last rounds fired.

the only up side is the glue fumes.......
I had to strip off.... Steady...... the old diesel soaked stuff and replace it
( do'es anyone know where to get the genuine foam and overcloth?)
I had to use a couple of layers and reuse the old cloth

i've used both
I own a 432,in case i'm accused of bias.......
432 has better protection,similiar mobility,but harder to service, track system is similiar.
I've seen mikes get hit with rpg's and they just burn, til your left with rollers and pack.
Seating, in Israel the seats were moved to the centreline, back to back. Kit storage was built up over the tracks, helping to stop spalling injuries.
Based on my own experiance and barrack stories I'd rather use a 432.

and years later i found a new issue of them made in Israel for Airfix
got one for my Daughter
