  1. Yes Richard I don't think I have ever seen a report where much attention was paid to crew difficulties under operational conditions. Such difficulties would clearly have an effect on crew efficiency.
  2. I found this report at Tankfest & bought it for AndyM. The scans are his as I no longer have the report. So that is the reason for Andy's unusual silence in this MO. I made no mention of his scans at the outset as that might have been a give away :-D
  3. Yes Richard well done! Pictures to follow in a minute
  4. Yes Derek absolutely So what would it be?
  5. Nope you're going off on a tangent Richard & losing the closeness of yesterday's answer. Its not an armoured car & not a tank although a MOP might think it was :-D
  6. Nope it would been rather late for that
  7. Tony these are not clothing related trials.
  8. I no longer have the original document Chris so i don't know the location, but the trials are not missile related. Not as such this was more of an incidental finding to hot weather trials for something else. The excessive perspiration in relation to two extremes of clothing highlighted a shortcoming in the equipment being tested.
  9. Don't think so Richard. But look at your last post yesterday, you were within a hair's breadth of being correct. But if I gave it to you then it would be picked up on as your terminology was not 100% correct for this trial :-D
  10. Wally in the sense that these are hot weather trials. No not really
  11. Yes one would certainly want rubber gloves for handling POLs or poo Wally but its not related to either of those necessary but hazardous activities.
  12. Very well deduced Richard very close. I must make a harsh judgement but not a tank though.
  13. A good suggestion Wally but the sweaty clothes were more of an incidental finding to the main trials. If I mention the name of the organisation it will become more obvious.
  14. Good idea but he's not a sniper Richard. So in summary we have British trials of something in Australia (=hot weather) with a fighting man on the front lines who can't be seen by the enemy & is not a sniper.
