  3. I haven’t seen any Mike, the R216 and PSU,  In above pic, come from an estate sale, I’ve never seen a PSU for sale or Many R216.

I,m on the lookout for a Larkspur C11 ( SSB) / R210 set up if you come across any.

bought a FFR Landrover Lightweight , 1974, needs work but it’s not too bad, I’d like to able to kit it out in Larkspur gear or Clansman ( have all the clansman gear)

the cable you may be able to source one from Don Blanchard.

  4. Haven't been for many years, personally thought it was better at Folkestone Racecourse, just my opinion, as for Brexit , that's not the downfall of the W&P,  its just greed and bad management.

The last time I went it was back at hop farm, but they had ditched the reduced entry for serving personal and no reduction for Veterans..... that says it all about the people running it.

That was my final visit as far as I was concerned.

Hope to get to the YWE this year.

I suspect the Lightweight will be back up for sale by a dealer at £12-14k after nothing more than a blow over with OD; but I HOPE it was bought by an enthusiast!

My thoughts also, possibly an appearance on eBay..... with a silly price tag.

Ruxy, that’s Interesting about the steel, I know little about the Lightweight but have  seen a lot which were rotten compared to other series LR’s.

Reason I never went OTT with bid, also the fact I’ve just bought a Series 3 109 FFR....😀

  6. Anyone have rough guide price of the above, it retains its Military Trim and 24v system, it’s a soft top comes with several spares including A civilian canvas and Sankey trailer.

It’s on the road and will be tax and MOT exempt next year.

Very good condition, except a few bits on the bulkhead, I can sort these at a later date as it’s not major and had no advisories in last two MOT,s

Its nice example that hasn't had any artistic flare.

If I went by eBay prices I wouldn’t be buying it.

Been a long time since I’ve had a Landy so out of touch with prices , but not as out of touch as with some sellers on eBay.

I’ve had three in the past so know a little bit and done a complete Bulkhead restoration on one....

  7. Thanks Jenkinov and Paul,

Jenkinov, its the whole filter casing etc I need (my mistake in original post), it bolted on to the frame,  anything similar and similar size would do.

    Hi Jenkinov,

Thanks for the reply :)  must admit I'm starting to realise what a minefield they can be regarding incorrect stuff, learning constantly at the moment which is good on my hunt for one. Seen a few which I spotted things were quite wrong on including a bsa with what I think was incorrect engine stamping.

Does anyone know about the underside on the 16h tanks?

Totally get that regarding the Speedo's seen that with some other classics I've had where it can be a bit of a pain to find.

Think I'm right in saying the wm20 and rest of the engine and frame number should all be in one line?

Really leaning towards the Norton's at the moment just because of my familiarity with the brand an I've always loved Norton's my uncle raced them in the 60's.

    Many thanks,

    Tom

    Tom,

Can you elaborate on the engine number, I've Some crank cases that have had the small small brass plate riveted on over the original number, the number is re stamped above the brass plate, the plate is just an identification regarding ( I cant remember if its bore size or bearing ??? someone will chirp in.) This would of been done by the REME at some point.
