Hi, Can anyone supply me with any more information about this Klaxon Klaxet 6 volt horn s/n K462833. Was an original factory fitment, field modification or post war fitment? many thanks

Hi, It seems that fittings such as the oil filter, air cleaner, horn, radiator etc should be painted black. However, should they be gloss black or satin black? Any thoughts? thanks

I am located near to Northampton so restorers in the south and midlands would be best although for a good company I am prepared to travel but Scotland and Cornwall might be a little bit far! Thanks for your comments.

I have a jeep which needs a complete re-spray. Unfortunately I am not in a position to do the work myself. I would like to have all the parts stripped off and then painted - I suppose a virtual ground up job. Can anyone recommend a company that could help me? thanks

Ever since being a young boy I have always had a passion for green machines. I have dreamed of owning a tank and being able to drive a piece of heavy metal - dream on!! Think I will have to settle for a jeep as it is the thing that will fit in the garage !! I have good basic practical skills but not an expert with years of experience working on military vehicles. So, hopefully when I get stuck a quick message posted on this forum will get a reply and I'll be sorted. I really do respect experience and craftsmanship. I do also read quite a lot covering all aspects of WW2, that said I also do a bit of WW1 and post WW2. Best wishes to you all.
