Considerable progress in restoration to report
Now have working brakes , a fair task as had to strip off reduction hubs to get to brake drums and the seized pistons! Make up all new brake lines and overhaul the master cylinder and air pac.
Been out and done a bit of work using winch (with a new rope) to pull over a large dead tree. More cosmetics to complete but great to have her out and working!
Just stumbled over this thread, do you still have the machine?

That looks like an I.Harvester 65c (Hough) Later Dresser. Also licence built by Komatsu as Wa90. I did not like driving with the cab on the front section of the pivot. Thay had a prefabricated boom early ones were prone to cracking.
Thanks, I wondered what it was.

The owner has another in yellow so I could make enquires about this one 🧐 😁
He also had an ex mod Jcb 410 fitted with loading shovel but I’ve not seen that for a while.
this link may already be on hmvf somewhere but here it is anyway;

Iveco Seat . Condition is Used. I think this is a Eurocargo seat as I removed it from my AEC Militant Recovery, the previous owner of said truck fitted it. Never had a head rest by the looks of it but the holes for one are under the fabric. Used condition as can be seen from the photos. Bolt hole centres measure front to rear 14” and side to side 8.5” and come with the bolts. The seat almost folds flat and slides forwards and backwards. No seatbelt included. Happy for collection from South Derbyshire DE65.

did mine about 6 weeks ago as the brass clip inside had stopped thrcentre moving....wish I changed the diaphragm. At the same time. Did you make it or get one off the shelf?
I’d called in a brake specialist as we couldn’t trace exactly where the fault was, they’d made the diaphragm then assembled it the wrong way round so I’ll be speaking to them about their invoice today.

Thanks, so, I must assume mine has bee rounded and I need a new nipple....once it get the old one off. Are they fairly easy to get hold of?
I’ve yet to replace any fortunately, one of my next projects is to replace the grease nipples as quite a few are in need, if you get stuck sourcing any let me know as I have a local contact who may know - they must be out there somewhere.

After stripping, cleaning & lubricating the RIC valve, my Dad & I tried reassembling it with the gasket above the new diaphragm to try and cure the air leak when the foot brake is pressed. Once fitted back to the truck tonight it worked a treat. Such a small change made all the difference.
Sequence was; valve block then push rod then diaphragm then gasket then lid.
