  1. Lots of work done. Finished and fitted the front left wing, mud guard and foot well. Starting to really take shape now!
  2. The new colour, 1950'-60's Irish Army green. These are the best wheels, the rest will have to be replaced.
  3. Bean there, done that! lol https://www.facebook.com/combatcars/
  4. I have now skinned the two doors, now for the tricky bit and fold the edges.
  5. The finished left wing, I think it came out OK. Can't wait to see it fitted.
  6. This is the rear roof section, test fitted and primed. I still have to cut the hole in it for the spare wheel carrier.
  7. The fuel tank is finally, permanently plumed in!
  8. The last part for the exhaust, painted and fitted.
  9. I did do a short vid last year but I couldn't get it off my phone. As soon as the fuel tank is permanently fixed and plumed in and the battery is in the right place (working on the wing now) I will take her out again. Hopeful you won't have long to wait.
  10. I probably should have updated this some time ago, but the Ferret is purring like a kitten now.
  11. Hi Guys, not on hear for a while. i have taken over this project from my brother. I have a question for all you Jeep people in the know; Can I use a CJ2A body tub as a replacement for a CJ3A, are they basically the same? I know the windscreens are different. I am hoping that is the only difference.
  12. So we test fitted the exhaust on Thursday and it fitted like a glove. Unfortunately it had to be painted black, but looks very fine indeed.
  13. Just took charge of the new stainless steel exhaust. I will test fit it on Thursday and see if any changes have to be made. But I think you will agree it looks very fine.
  14. This is the progress made at CombatCars on the Quad in 2015. Lots done but still lots to do.
  15. The new number plates. Might look like a very small part of a big jigsaw, but it took me almost two years of fighting to be able to keep the vehicles original reg number.
  16. Does anyone have any of the following parts for sale?
