  1. We have had to recently re-register our Ward Lafrance.

luckily we got an age related plate.

where is the best place to get the pressed black plates made up from ?

    Thanks, Pete.

  2. Hi

Nicely displayed don't think I've ever seen one setup to show how the out riggers are used. The photo display boards are really good at giving additional information. Always seem when you do something extra people ask more questions and probably learn more as result.

    Cheers Phil

Hi, I enjoyed educating people about the Ward. A lot of people think it's french because of the name. I like to show them round and what things do and it's capabilitys like the strength of the winch's and what she was built for.

we have the information board and when I can see them looking I'll chat to them. I can also gain knowledge from the older generation.

    That's what it's all about. :)

  3. Thanks. I've googled overloon and there is a lot of pictures.

I found a ward but it's not ours.. The area around the exhibits looks very much like what's around ours.

  5. Ron Charlton ran this on Recovery for Welch's Transport of Stapelford. He is in his late 80's now.

His son Terry has brought the Ward we have now as a memory for Ron. Now all the old pics are coming out :)

Ron ran it with the original cab for a while and then decided to graft this cab on. I'll try and find out what this cab was off.
